    Mexico
    Curacao
    Costa Rica
    Ukraine
    Croatia
    Great Britain
    Serbia
    Poland
    Indonesia and,
    Guatemala

    And I’d add the following to complete a top 16:

    Russia
    South Africa
    Colombia
    Slovak Republic
    Venezuela and
    either USA or Puerto Rico (arguably for many, the same country!!! 🙂

  4. TBH I don’t see GB as a dark horse she can’t win the crown against USA, Venezuela, Ukraine, Philippines, Ukraine and South Africa. I think she’ll be in the top 16 or clapper.. just saying!

    • No, she wont be the winner. I think she will get the cut to top 10 but winning… not so sure. Its not her time. Its not Indonesia’s time.

    • they dont need to speak english…just like what Janine Tugonon said, “its not about speaking a particular language…” Alot of of the past winners didnt speak english so being able to speak english does NOT mean you are intelligent ok?

  23. Philippines is far from winning . They are unfortunately not good looking And probably they so fanatics that they must pay do much money in order for to get in finals because if it was for the beauty ewww not even in the top 20 will get

      • No one would feel threatened by the Filipina, as she is just ordinary (you may be blind, but the rest of the world is not). But everyone must feel indeed threatened by Filipinos and how obsessively they over hype their contestants and how it jeopardizes the fairness and credibility of MU.

    • Philippines can answer in Q&A smartly in English even though their main language is Pilipino, it is better to become beautiful and smart than much beautiful but damb

      • Not sure who you’re talking about. Filipinos are probably the dumbest people on earth. You claim to be very smart and speak English very well but check your grammar: it is “dumb” not “damb”. Besides, it has been proven year after year since 1969 (since Gloria Diaz), that speaking English is not a factor in wining miss universe.

      • MU is a business and it was acknowledged by MU organization that Filipinos make up their biggest (largest) fan base. As in their massive inferiority and racial complex, Filipinos are obsessed with wining in beauty pageants. That in itself (in addition to how Filipinos massively vote, hype, promote, and over rate their candidates) is a tremendous threat to the fairness and credibility of MU. I wont doubt if Philippines wins _not because she is beautiful, or deserves it, but because business wise it may be convenient for MU. It would be a true shame if that happens.

    • Mr. or Miss Phil23 whoever you are, if you are trying to insinuate that our past winning streak in the top 5 in MU has been paid, you must be so crazy to think about that. By saying so you are suggesting as well that the management in MU accept or tolerated this kind of stupid thing? why don’t you just accept the fact that Filipino’s are great and real fighters, we always give our best to win in whatever competition we are in. We won not because of money but because we DESERVE IT. Our winnings is a products of hard work and determination and tha’ts what we are always proud of. And i’m so sorry if your candidate doesn’t have it that makes you a consistent clapper???? Filipino’s competence is not only proven in the beauty pageant such as this, but even in various fields as well- entertainment, sports, name it we have it. So zip your mouth because our country will shine brightly in this year’s pageant. And if you bash the Filipino make sure your english is at least not so ewww.

      • Now to add to my previous reply: you past “winning” streak as you called it is due to over rating, hyping, massive Filipino fans voting, and the fact that the Philippines is the country with the higher number of social media users in the world (Filipinos would usually only visit either Facebook or Youtube_or both); as well as the fact that “psychotically obsessed” Filipinos (almost 90 million) make up the largest or biggest MU fan base, as acknowledged by MU organization. It is obvious that it would be inconvenient for MU not to please such a recalcitrant fan base; all of the above mentioned has definitely played a role in your placing in the finals_not beauty. Stop deceiving yourself because you can’t deceive the rest of the world.

      • Filipinos and their pathetic inferiority complex. A complex that dominates all aspects of their life. Now that you mentioned what Filipinos stand out for: I will add some more items: – scammers. cheaters, corrupt, drug smugglers, thieves, American wanna be’s, copy cats, money lovers, gold diggers, hypocrites, and a never ending list of negative etceteras… oh I forgot: may be when you mentioned that Filipinos are good in entertainment, you’re referring to the notorious “yapayukis” (sex workers posing as entertainers in Japan).
