After the preliminaries, our panel of beauty analysts discussed who among the Miss Supranational 2016 candidates made a good impact. There has been a lot of focus on the swimsuit segment and on the catwalk skills of the delegates given how the pageant puts a lot of emphasis on these aspects.
Miss Myanmar Swe Zin Htet zoomed in from 9th place in our last OFFICIAL hot picks to capture the prime spot. Her fabulous body wowed everyone during the swimsuit prelims and there has been a lot of talk about Miss Supranational focusing on this emerging Southeast Asian nation.
It seems Myanmar, as a nation, is obsessed with the Miss Supranational pageant. Look how Stephania Stegman was warmly welcomed when she made a visit and then crowned Swe Zin Htet during the nationals.
In second place is Miss Indonesia Intan Aletrino. She has an equally appealing body form but she did not really shine that well during the gown competition. Still, Intan is in a strong position since topping in our last official hot picks.
Miss Ecuador Maria Isabel Pineyro made quite an impact when she showed some sensual and polished moves that eventually made her so elegant. Her gown design was so-so but she carried it well.
Meanwhile, Miss Venezuela Valeria Vespoli is perfect in everyway. She aced the swimsuit segment as well as the gown. She is simply a polished delegate who knows exactly what to do. She truly lives up to the expectation that most of us had for a Miss Venezuela.
Miss Poland Ewa Mielnicka is another candidate to watch. She exudes a rather tempered form confidence although there is no doubt that is excelled in the prelims. Her beauty is very angelic and her body got the right curves!
Capturing the 6th place is Jaleesa Pigot of Suriname thanks to her classy body form while Miss Slovak Republic Lenka Tekeljakova’s aura full of feminine touch allowed her to climb out of nowhere to the 7th spot.
Watch out for Miss Mexico Cynthia de la Vega! Although she is on the 8th place, she is gaining a lot of momentum. Her figure and her confidence is giving her a lot of boost. Also watch out for Miss USA Alexis Sherrill and Miss Philippines Joanna Eden. Alexis is basically under the radar but she could pull off a surprise. Joanna on the other hand showed her prowess during the prelims and she basically told the world that she shouldn’t be taken lightly. Her beauty has a universal appeal and she looked polished all throughout.
