Christina Cai has been appointed the new Miss Earth Singapore (MES), the organization posted on its social media pages on August 21.
The 21-year-old dancer, who placed as Miss Water Singapore in last year’s MES contest, will represent the Garden City in the next edition of the Miss Earth pageant.
“Due to the current unfortunate situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, MES is unable to host Miss Earth Singapore 2020. However, the show must go on, and MES will still be participating in the inaugural Miss Earth 2020,” the organization said in a statement.
No stranger to pageants, Cai was Miss Singapore Chinatown 2017 and a Top 10 finalist in Miss Chinese International 2018.
“Never stop fighting for your dreams, no matter how impossible it may seem. Because if you believe in yourself, anything is possible,” Cai posted on Instagram shortly after she was announced as MES 2020.
