In an interview held last week, the National Director of “Concurso Nacional de Belleza”, Raymundo Angulo confirmed that María Alejandra Vengoechea will be the Colombian delegate at the Miss International Pageant.

Venegoechea is the reigning Primera Princesa (2nd Runner-up) at Señorita Colombia 2019. She represented Atlantico. The 19-year-old model was not offered the Virreina (1st Runner-up) title after Laura Olascuaga resigned and gave up the said position.

Miss International 2019 will be held on November 12th in Tokyo, Japan. Colombia has won three Miss International crowns. That includes the very first title won in 1960. They have made into the Top 5 three times in the last six years.
