THE NOT SO BAD QUESTION There are many ways to ask questions to more than 70 girls. The bad way: "What kind of animal would you like to be and why?" Iguanas, rats or sperm whales have of course few chances to be chosen. However, the pool of the Hotel where the interview is taking place might be full of dolphins. The very bad way: « Tell us about quantum physics and time's relativity. Do you believe those theories? ». Let's give you a good advice: leave Okinawa right away and go to Stockholm where a Noble Prize winner will be delighted to answer you. And the not so bad way, without being too much existential or metaphysical, would be maybe the following one. If you still want to ask the «what would you like to be if...? » question, let's try a more direct one. 2. If you were a man, who would that be or what would you do ?

Why do you aspire to be the most beautiful woman today?

TO BECOME A MISS Many contestants didn't imagine, nor plan this contest to happen. Often, they end up mounting the podium by chance. One day, you become the Miss of your local High school, of your town or your region, and you pursue this incredible journey to get always higher. Being conscious of your own image and the impact you can give on others isn't always easy. Being fortunately beautiful could open many doors but could brutally close on a world you never wish. For those who want to achieve the dream they had in their childhood or want to be the prettiest for good and useful reasons, this contest could be a wonderful teaching. Becoming a Miss is therefore a choice you make with time and maturity despite their young age and their short life experience. Becoming someday a Miss means a great moral responsibility towards one's country, one's friends, and one's family, but also towards oneself facing the whole world. Being a Miss could also be a message of peace and comfort for those who live on this poor planet, victims of men's violence, war, selfishness and absurdity. Being a Miss means to be the Ambassador of a peaceful, yet not silent to better give her hand to places where indifference and injustice control everything. 1. HANABI (HD Quality 1280×720)

This day Miss International has visited a temple to be given its blessing for a successful event. Afterwards, contestants enjoyed watching Hanabi (Fireworks). For this occasion and if you want to respect this traditional way, every girl in Japan must wear the Yukata, a casual summer kimono. ミスインターナショナルの成功を祈願して、沖縄県那覇市にある沖宮（おきのぐう）に参拝に行ってきました。日本の文化体験も兼ねて、浴衣を着て近くの花火大会にお出かけし、一足遅い夏の終わりを沖縄で楽しみました。

KARATE GIRLS (HD Quality 1280×720)

Okinawa is known in the world first and foremost for this martial art which roots come from the traditional culture of this very island. It was therefore a must for the contestants to start to learn Karate here. Okinawa Shogaku High school has invited Miss International to attend a big karate class with the Okinawa Prefectural Karate-do Association Masters. It was indeed an unforgettable experience for these ladies coming from all over the world.

Now, it's time for the contestants to take a brake after all these activity they do in Okinawa. They went to Manza Beach, a nice place near the ANA continental hotel in Onna-village. The sun wasn't here, but so did the fun. 忙しいスケジュールの中で、ミスたちも休憩が必要です！そこでANAコンチネンタルホテルの近くにある万座ビーチに行ってきました。残念ながら太陽は出ていなかったのですが、輝くミスたちが太陽のようでした。

A day at the Peace Memorial Park

All the contestants of Miss International 2012 went at the Peace Memorial Park in Okinawa. In this part of the world took place the fiercest battle during the Pacific war in 1945 called the battle of Okinawa.
