Earlier Missosology.Org reported that the Miss Earth Indonesia franchise is now under the Yayasan Puteri Indonesia umbrella based on several reports by the Indonesian press like this one from MetroTV Indonesia CLICK HERE [In Bahasa Indonesia]. A reliable source of Missosology.Org however confirmed that there was a mistake with the announcement made during the Puteri press conference.

The source further confirmed that the winner of Puteri Indonesia 2012-2013 Whulan Dary Herman will compete at Miss Universe 2013 while the first runner-up Marisa Sartika Maladewi will compete at Miss International 2013. The source further confirmed that the original franchise holder of the Miss Earth Indonesia remains the same.

Beauty fans from around the world know that India's pageantry scene was always dominated by the Femina Miss India Organization under the management of the Times of India Group. It used to be that all the Big4 contestants of India came from this organization. But things changed in 2010 when I Am She came into being. Unfortunately, I Am She was inevitably scrapped paving way for Femina to dominate the market once again. But another pageant is making its own mark in India and it's called as Indian Princess Pageant. It holds the franchise for Renowned Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental as well as other 6 pageants of tourism contests including Miss Globe.

An Introduction:-

Indian Princess 2010:-

Debuted in 2010, Models from the western zone of India from the cities like Mumbai, Goa, Pune, and Ahmadabad were trained and groomed by some eminent experts from the industry. The sessions concentrated on grooming, communication skills, health and beauty, present ability and various other aspects like confidence and dialect. The finale of this Pageant took place at Taj Land’s End sea-side Lounge with the Association of Mr.Vijay Singh CMD- VCI Hospitality, Pooja Chopra - Miss India world 2009, Priyanka Shah - Miss India 2007 contestant, Natasha Suri  -  Miss India 2006, Ishita Sarkar - Femina Gold heart 2009, Shriya Kishore -  Miss India Earth 2009, Juhi Babbar – Actress, Dimple Patel- Model & Actress, Konkana Bakshi- Femina Miss India East 2009 contestant, Mr A.D.Singh- Fashion Designer.

 With the overwhelming success of WESTERN INDIA PRINCESS, Atharva went  International and launched a Mega Lifestyle Odyssey- INDIAN PRINCESS 2011 –‘The  Route to International Runways’ which spread across 14 states covering length and breadth of the country.

The Grand Launch of Indian Princess:

The Mega Launch of this event held on the 25^th September, at the JW Mariott, Mumbai saw some renowned personalities from the industry like Arshad Warsi, Urmila Matondkar, Soha Ali Khan, Mugda Godse, Maria Goretti, Claudia, Nisha Harale, Adam Bedi, Rahul Vaidya, and many more gracing the Evening and don collections by Wendell Rodricks, Krishna Mehta, James Ferreira and many more leading designers.  The event went on air live on Sahara Samay Mumbai, with Zoom and NDTV covering the footage. Print Media like BT Pg3, DNA, HT, Mid-day, Asian Age, Navbharat times, etc covered the event.

Training and Grooming: ‘Hawaii of the West’- the 5 star Blue Ocean Resort and Spa at Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri

Finalists after auditions from the different regions were trained in the areas of diction, fitness, grooming and etiquette, ramp walk, make up and styling, photo shoots and international mannerism by eminent experts from all over the world who groomed them to achieve PERFECTION.

Thailand Trip

We had taken our Contestants of Indian Princess to Thailand for Promotions and International Training and Grooming sessions before the Grand Finale of Indian Princess. There we were joined by Miss Argentina at the Miss Intercontinental last year as our International Ramp Walk Trainer.  We were also joined by various other Miss Intercontinental 2010 Finalists like Miss from Poland, Miss from Bulgaria, Miss from Macedonia and Miss from Netherlands. They were invited as Guest of Honor in India by us and visited and walked ramp.       

With blend of Indian and Thai culture we wanted to give the Indian Princess 2011 a feel of the Thai tradition.

All of this Contestants will be trained and Groomed in Blue Ocean Resort and SPA for 10 days, post that a trip to Thailand for 10 Days and post that will be made to visit India and feel the Indian touch and Insights.

The Finale will take place on 8^th March 2012, in Hotel Tulip Star, Juhu Mumbai, with the presence of 8.000 people on venue and 1.2 Billons around the world with the world wide press and media, and episodes will be exclusively covered on Channel V.
