1.Tell us something that many people don't know about you.

I had just bought my very first car without having any idea how to drive it. I didn’t see the car being a standard a motive not to purchase it. I was ready to learn how to drive it, I’m always up for a challenge. In the beginning the car would shut off with me at stop lights and up hills but I would just laugh and restart the car and keep going. Eventually I had learned how to drive my very first car, it’s one of my proudest accomplisment outside of the pageant world.

She graced in the cover of Maxim and she is a Hooter's Calendar Girl. Meet Miss Kentucky USA 2012 Amanda Mertz. She's 25 years old, stands 5'6", hails from Louisville and a model by profession. She was crowned by 2011 Miss Kentucky USA Kia Hampton, who is now a member of the girl band Pussycat Dolls, in a glamor-filled event held at Bowling Green.

Kentucky boasts one Miss USA, Tara Conner, who won in 2006. Tara went on to become 4th runner-up at Miss Universe 2006.

It's only natural that the 41-year-old actress would wear a design from Carolina Herrera's spring 2012 collection, as the designer was the toast of the gala on Wednesday night.
