With a wide smile and sparkling eyes, Angie Alfaro embodies the laidback and lush natural beauty of her native Costa Rica. More associated with your early morning roasted coffee or dinner banana dessert than beauty pageants, Costa Rica is a small yet proud South American nation. It has been in the Miss World semifinals thrice and with the new management it hopes to make a good impression at the pageant. Angie will surely accomplish a lot of great things thanks largely to her natural beauty, sunny disposition and a can-do spirit.

If you are the answer, what is the question?

Which place in the world could you find the more noble heart?

In a sea of beautiful universal women that will set foot in the South Africa, what makes you stand out?

My main weapon would be myself and show my attitude through the nature of all the people I represent in the name of Costa Rica. Beauty is a complement to get a title as Miss World, but also frames the simplicity, strength, courage, warmth and nobility that represent you as a woman in the face of the entire world.

Any beauty secrets that you would like to share the readers of Missosology?

The main secret of beauty that I can share with the readers of Missosology is nourishing the soul. If you feel right, as reflected by the strength, confidence, security, being comfortable with oneself, it makes other people note that special glow that makes you different from others.

If you could trade places with any other famous person for a week, real or fictional, with whom would it be & why?

Definitely Mrs. Julia Morley. I feel she is a woman with many strengths and she is indeed very strong. It cannot be easy having to organize a competition like Miss World, and she always show the simplicity, elegance and good heart. Mrs. Morley is a lady with great force, very intelligent and is a business woman. Many people should take her as a model.

What is your worst quality?

Despaired, I feel I have very little patience and sometimes it makes me angry with myself because in the end, patience is a virtue. I hope that over time I can learn it.

Describe your fashion sense & style.

I consider myself a modern woman with regards to my look and clothing. I also love my hair to show modernity. I like to dress in avant-garde fashion clothes.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?

Undoubtedly Ms. Julia Robert. She is a very intelligent woman, beautiful and classy. She had many successes, and to have an opportunity I would not think of any other than herself to be the protagonist of my story.

If you were a type of food, what type of food would you be?

[Laughs] Incredible, but I would be fish food, I love and I feel I receive peace from them.

Lastly, what's your special message to the worldwide visitors of Missosology, most specially to your fans & supporters?

Thank you for following me on my journey through the Miss World contest. Missosology, thank you for the opportunity to express a little bit of me on your website. I hope that Miss World contest will be to your liking, but remember each country are really in the affection and love of each delegate, and fans like you give us strength to improve our role as ambassadors of beauty.
