Now that some of the contestants have landed at Las Vegas, it is time for another week of Hot Picks. Leading the pack is Miss Venezuela Irene Esser whose impeccable charm and perfect beauty is undeniable and she brought with her tons of cargo, er clothes, so watch out how this girl will gonna amaze us all! Irene had her share of critics but make no mistake. Old Osmel is still on the helm so expect nothing less than perfection. Meanwhile, Miss Puerto Rico Bodine Koehler is drop dead sexy and beautiful too! This one heck of a Boricua beauty will bring the competition to an extremely high level. She will be a problem for Irene as the two will now duel it hard for the crown. On the third place is Miss South Africa Melinda Bam who wants nothing less but the Miss Universe 2012 title. She was trained and prepared specifically on one mission – bring the first Miss Universe crown for the post-Apartheid South Africa.
In many cases some of the top contenders for the 2012 edition are actually the usual names you had heard before. For example, Miss Kosovo Diana Avdiu which is ranked fourth in this Hot Picks represents a country that is relatively new at Miss Universe but has consistently showed strong performance. The movement this week represents how pre-arrival and post-arrival impressions can very significantly. Miss Mexico Karina Gonzalez is now ranked sixth while second placer Miss Philippines Janine Tugunon fell down on 19th place. What will our Hot Picks look like when our correspondents get a closer look of the delegates? That is something we will all look forward to next time around!

I respect your opinion here but i believe you have underestimated Miss Ecuador too much… She is beautiful and just beautiful… I don’t think Miss Sri Lanka and Colombia is better than her!!!

Just as I expected, Miss Venezuela like always, i don;t think she all that this year,like Irene Saenz, Barbara Palacios when beuaty was themain thing.
But glad to see Daniela Alvarez and Miss Ecuador in the top 15, they deserve it both beacuse it has been 50 year that Either Colombia and Ecuador dont win crown to their countries.
Those 2 beauties are better prepared to impress judges, public and fans this Decembie 19, 2012 in Las vegas, thery are indeed the venus and gorgeous lasied who can win over Venezuela or Puerto rico. I think that contestants must be oringally born in that country to win the crown in their coutnries.

This year we have real stunning contestants!! Would like to see Spain in the top 25!! Also I cheer to see Brazil placing higher in the next hot-picks!! Other contestants that i like that were not there are New Zealand and Russia ( top 17) but in my opinion should place higher!! Let’s what happens in the followind days. When will missosology publish a new list of favorites!!

The best contestant so far is Daniela Alvarez, miss Colombia 2012 for the stunning and glamour thru the runnway.
Colombia deserve the 2nd crown for that lovely country who send reallt preapred ladies to compete for crown.
