What strikes me most about Çağıl (pronounced as Tsayul) are her eyes. They seems to smile and that makes her whole facial beauty so appealing. The overall appeal then is softness and sweet and that is the current trend at Miss Universe. There is also a consensus among beauty watchers that her body is one of the sexiest in the pageant.
Turkey however is not that strong at Miss Universe. The overwhelmingly Muslim nation had already won a Miss World crown but is yet to master the art of producing a Miss Universe. Its campaign at the pageant hit its zenith in 1990 with Jülide Ateş who finished as one of the Top 10. (Jülide is now a TV host). The picture that I am trying to impress is that history is working against Çağıl. I hope and pray that they see her beyond the sash factor and let the Turkish campaign for the crown some boost.
