With all the nasty rumors on why Melinda backed out from Miss World, her move – and her organization’s – proved to be a wise one. Miss World 2012 was a farce. That should put her critics to shame, if ever they had one. And there is not much to say about her for everyone knows she is an über-beauty and she will be in the Miss Universe semis. How far she will go from the semis is of course another question. Melinda will charm Las Vegas and South Africa will be back in the game again. A word of warning: If she wins the Miss Universe crown, don’t be surprised.
