Janine was very stunning during her BBP days that is why she won the crown.

I did not follow BBP this early this year. When I saw Janine during the final night, I thought she’s the clear winner. She’s definitely the stand out among the finalists no matter what other people were complaining about. The judges were right to choose Janine to represent our country in MU this year. I’m sure she’ll surprise us in a few months. She’s not getting the hype at this point. Some people are just mean to bash her. Janine will make us proud no matter what. Go Janine!

She is indeed an underdog, step-backward pick and a so so favorite to over fete what Venus and Shamcey did on their respected pageants.

She has a tremendous pressure on her shoulders to prove who dislike her wrong and she can not just brush it off for these are the same people who will either support or bash her.

Nonetheless in my case, she may not be my top bet during the Bb. pageant I’ll support her to boost her moral and for the country’s pride.

Im pretty sure Miss Philippines will prove her haters wrong. She will outshine everyone. I dont totally agree with Misso’s assessment at this point. Anyway I seldom agree in many instances though.

i think she needs to improve the spiciness inside her (like a bit fiercer rather than simply cute and sweet), she’s charming and sweet looking but i think she lacks the FIRE that we can see in Shamcey and Venus. I hope she’s in good hands with regards to her training to develop her skills and physique. And also haven’t seen photos of her recently so that we could all see her development, lastly i hope she can place in MU 2012 or have an award or something…

i’ve been an avid fan of national Phil pageants and honestly, I am not into Janine winning Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2012. However, I can’t change what was already decided and so, for now being a Filipino I just want to support her on her quest for Miss U. I just hope that BPCI would do their best to make Miss Janine a better contender for the crown…I have doubts but still, i’m hoping i’m wrong and that, she’ll can make it this year. Janine deserves more than 8.5. Her beauty speaks so much of the true Filipina and the best of Asian looks. Her body figure is just right, not so lean nor so plump. She is elegant and confident. Yes, her confidence is a big power for her to advance to the semis and may lead her to the crown. Take note that it is the confidence that makes you a winner. Her eloquence or intelligence is such a big advantage, not to forget that she graduated CUM LAUDE if not higher than this from a very prestigious school in the Philippines. Plus, her long time training and her exposure will surely strike on the contest proper. Good luck to Janine. Ignore those pity people who have nothing good to say as we know that envy rises from the ugly vulture of their hearts with their aesthetically challenge faces. We love you! God bless you!!!

She looks a true binibini. This is what I believe the true image perception by MUO on Filipino women. Exotic and genuine. A truly island beauty, her exotic looks remind me a mix of Desiree Verdadero, Chat Silayan and Miriam Quiambao. I hope she’ll do well in MU although the location factor in the Caribbean to me might not favor Asian beauties. I hope the pageant moves to Miami or Vegas to bring her more luck and support to land in the top five. I also hope during her preparation that she works more on her catwalk and communication skills as seen on amateur videos.

I do agree that Janine comes off as inconsistent at times. Parang one moment she can take your breath away and the next she looks like Dimaranan’s runner-up. I dunno I think Janine can be honed pero there’s so much time on Araneta’s hands this year na she just can’t make excuses. Kung di nanalo bet nio during the BBP, move on na at tapos na. Ang issue ngayon ay kung sino na ang susuportahan natin sa MU, cmon guys, ung ibang Pinoy jan na ayaw syang suportahan tumahimik na lang “sana”, at pwede nio nman ipagmalaki at ipagsigawan kung sino ang gusto niyong rep from other countries of the world, kung gusto niyo si Zimbabwe o si Ghana, nasa inyo un, wag lng kayong magsabi ng pangit sa sarili nating rep, nakikiusap lang. I personally got to see the Binibining Pilipinas this year at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and was very fortunate enough to set side by side with previous Binibini winners on the near-front row..

From the start of the pageant up to the end, Janine Tugonon was not my type to win the pageant. No doubt she is beautiful (after all there was a very rigid screening process that happened before that) but her physical attributes was somewhat mediocre compare to that of Venus and Shamcey.

We can browse in the Miss Universe website, missosology and many other websites that this year and time and again the latin countries have sent in again another batch of super beautiful candidates whose appeal are overflowing.

Lately, i happened to bump with Miss Tugonon and i cant find the right words to describe her and her very obvious, positive transformation. It was a great sigh of relief.!

By that, I can see a Mariam Quiambao Part 2 for the Philippines in the coming Miss Universe 2012. If Janine could come up to a more solid and globally-accepted answer in the final interview (Venus and Shamcey’s waterloo), take it from me, the Philippines can have its 3rd MU crown this year, very undoubtedly!

I suggest that as a legislative researcher in our Philippine Congress, there are lots of beautiful issues here particularly advancing women’s health and right that Miss Philippines must participate and work as frontliner to be acknowledge. This is a clever way to show to the world that she is a woman of substance, a woman that aptly represents the modern world.

It is noteworthy to note that the Miss Universe organization is having their eyes focused on the delegates from day 1 they were crowned as national winners. Venus raj’s question in the final interview was actually her surest ticket to the crown if only she was honest enough to tell what happened before she went to Vegas. The MU was just waiting for her ‘dethronement, and reinstallment answer which can leave a very good lesson to all women around the world.

Miss Philippines 2012 must do the things that can create a lasting impression for the world to see, not just physically..
