Lots of excitement was generated when Rina Chibany was crowned. As if Georgina Rizk and the old Lebanese glory is back. Indeed why wouldn’t it generate such excitement? Rina will make Lebanon a threat once again at Miss Universe. We count the ways on why she could be a threat to other nations: 1.) She’s beautiful. Her brown wavy hair, well shaped lips and a pair of laughing eyes makes her a stunner. 2.) She’s got a body that can compete well with the front-runners. 3.) She’s got poise. She knows how to walk and pose and stand out from the rest. Having listed all of the above, other nations should treat the threat rather seriously.

I have the feeling this year Lebanon will win the crown. She’s one the most beautiful contestants and has the particularity of being from an Arab country. Women aren’t free to be like they are in such countries, so she represents in somehow the freedom, the emancipation of women.
