Lee Seong-hye could be the next Honey Lee if only the reports of alleged transformation had took place. Korea is not really a strong nation at Miss Universe but in two instances – 1988 and 2007 – it was fancied to win the crown. It seems that the strong chance for victory comes once in a blue moon for this nation. Anyway, they have tried several experimentations including hiring Ines Ligron in 2008 and sending their Miss World semifinalists in 2010 but these didn’t improved their chances. I see Seong-hye as a blank canvass as of the moment and how she will fare at Miss Universe 2012 will largely depends on the how her handlers will mold and hone her. In short, the potential is there but it needs to be developed.
