Gabriela Markus is one heck of a complete package. It is of no wonder she is oozing with confidence and I love that in a beauty queen. I see a great deal of elegance and intelligence in her and I can see her making it to the semis. Last year’s Miss Universe Brazil was heavily criticized and she worked hard to give her best thus silencing her critics. This year, Gabriela doesn’t have to worry her critics for she has a legion of fans and not of detractors.
And why indeed Gabriela is winning hearts? First, her beauty is one of the best we’ve seen from her underperforming country. While it is true that Brazil has two Misses Universe and has a lot of potential but lately it spoils such potential by sending below par representatives. Second, Gabriela’s got a bubbly personality and that’s where that confidence is being projected. This girl knows how to work well with cameras. She feel pretty comfortable with herself. She is poised and knows how to connect with the audience. Gabriela will go down in history as the strongest Brazilian contestant at Miss Universe since 2007.

Sash (Big4) Factor – 9.9? Never… 9.9 have Venezuela, USA and P. Rico. Brasil maybe 8.0 or 8.5. With 9.9 Brasil would stay in the top 8 or 9 in 10 years – and this is not the reality. And for me the body if Gabriela in better that her face.
