MISS HAITI, Christela Jacques
Country: Haiti
What We Liked
What We Disliked
There is that air of sophistication in the aura of Christela Jacques. If the reigning Miss Universe Leila Lopes is barbie, well Christela is a So-In-Style barbie. Her poses reveal it all. There is that air of sophistication in the aura of Christela Jacques. If the reigning Miss Universe Leila Lopes is barbie, well Christela is a So-In-Style barbie. Her poses reveal it all. She’s got that en vogue feel that unravels her proclivities as a model. I am confident in saying that she is the best among the Haitian beauties since the country decided to participate at Miss Universe once again. And Haiti had a colorful albeit intermittent participation at the pageant. It actually nearly won the crown in 1975 by finishing as first runner-up.
Christela’s got that characteristics that could attract attention. It is more concentrated on her model-like look. The shape of her face completely complements her eyes. And her lovely thick lips give a sophisticated touch to her facial features. And this girl got a good height too and a body shape to go with it. There has never been good prospect for Haiti at Miss Universe lately and 2012 could be their year.

She has breathtaking beauty and poise and elegance. Has the opportunity to be whatever she wants in the beauty field and out of it. She will succeed!!
I really love Christela’s look she is very beautiful, but it’s a bit too modelesque. There is not enough of a pageant look to her. Christela looks more like the average Haitian than the previous two candidates which is an improvement. Sadly Magali Febles is treating Miss Haiti Universe like an afterthought. This girl did not win a pageant, but was plucked from the crowd which is really unfair to the girls that really want it. If Magali is having such a hard time finding a Miss Haiti then she needs to open up the requirements to include the Haitian diaspora. If by some freaky cosmic chance Christela wins how would a candidate that was selected treat her duties? Does she even want it as much as the other girls or is she just winging it? That’s the scary part. Other nations also send selected candidates too and I dislike it just as much.
