Miss World Panama is Virginia Hernandez who is 22 years of age and stands 5'8". She will compete in the Miss World 2013 pageant which will be held in Indonesia in September 14.
Panama was once a country that believes in Big4 philosophy - a Missosology-backed idea that there are 4 major pageants namely Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International.
Thus, in 2012, Panama crowned 4 beauty queens simultaneously. However, the Miss World Organization began demanding last year that a separate pageant must be held and specifically select a candidate solely for Miss World.
