Miss France 2012 Delphine Wespiser was thought to compete at Miss Universe 2012 after she was denied a place in the upper rank of Miss World 2012 but that was not the case. As we all know now, the runner up Marie Payet took over the task. The official explanation? Miss France contest for 2013 candidates coincide with the late schedule of Miss Universe.

So where is Delphine nowadays? In December 7 she crowned Marine Lorphelin as Miss France 2013 which usually will compete at Miss World 2013 and Miss Universe 2013. The contest was later marred by accusations of several minority groups as racist for failing to truly represent the racial makeup of modern France. They called Marine as white as snow and all of this despite the fact that several previous Miss France were part of the minority groups in the country. 

Then lately, Delphine appeared in a Disney promotional video for the film Brave which in French is called Rebelle. Indeed who could better represent a French speaking Merida other than fiery red haired Delphine? Watch the promotional video below.
