In the world of pageantry, beauty queens would either marry a businessman, a sportsman or a politician. It is as if a beautiful woman needs an accomplished man to make her life complete. Filipino businessmen seem to be choice of the first winners of Miss Universe and Miss International. Armi Kuusela fell in love with Filipino businessman Virgilio Hilario. It was a successful marriage that bore 5 children. Stella Marquez on the other hand also married a Filipino businessman named Jorge Araneta. She is now a successful businesswoman and a National Director in the Philippines.

These days, we've seen Miss Universe 2003 Amelia Vega tying knot with a basketball star while Miss World 2003 First runner-up Nasanin Afshin-Jam exchanged I do's with the Canadian Defense Minister. But what if a beauty queen marries a male beauty pageant titleholder as well? That would be like a marriage made in heaven. Miss World Sweden 2011 Nicoline Artursson and Mister International Norway Nikolai Danielsen would be just like that. Already, the couple is making waves in Scandinavia and both profess that they are madly in love with each other.

Nicoline Artursson was Sweden's representative at Miss World 2011 where she finished as one of the Top 15 semifinalists. It is the highest placement of Sweden since 2007. Nikolai Danielsen on the other hand is one of the Top 16 semifinalists in the recently concluded Mister International 2011 contest.
