Another trouble for Peru. This time in an alleged statement by Miss Universe Peru 2013 Cindy Mejía regarding homosexuality.

When asked about herfuture family, she was asked what would happen if she was to have a homosexual child she said:

"I feel that would not happen because those things happen when there is no father figue, when one is victim of rape , when someone lives with his mother and sisters alone, and that is when mannerism starts. When I have children, I will give them to God completely. They will have both parents by their side and I will raise them properly" she said.

The statement raised eyebrows online and elicited waves of negative criticisms describing Cindy as a bigot and ignorant. Wonder what CNN anchor Anderson Cooper can say about this?
