COMICI President Victor Yapobi officially announced that Côte d’Ivoire will compete again after their last participation in 1986. It was held last January 18 with the Secretary-General Mr. Thierry Coffi who thanked all the sponsors and partners for their loyalty to COMICI. It was as well the time of assessment of all actions and efforts of Comici's assistance to the poor. Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2012 to be held on June 2 at the Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan will be participated by 26 candidates. The First Runner up Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2012 will compete in Miss Universe 2012 and the Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2012 will represent Côte d'Ivoire in Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18, 2012.
