The announcement of Miss World semifinalist and Miss Universe 2010 1st runner-up Yendi Philips that she is pregnant raised eyebrows in Jamaica. In a video interview Yendi announced over the weekend that she is pregnant with the child of Jamaican singer Daniel "Chino" McGregor. Lots gave their congratulations but online peeps are talking about the moral degradation in Jamaica. Another child born out of wedlock, laments one commentator, joining others that thought Yendi should have been a good role model for women. Some are just chagrined by all the fuss saying that such story doesn't deserve a spot in the news.
