Every year, we pick the best and worst in every Big4 pageant - the flops and fabs so to say. Of course, Miss Universe is a pageant where the best comes out. Sad to say, the worst do pop up from time to time.
The Best and Worst in Swimsuit

Miss Denmark Josefine Hewitt tops the worst in this category for her weird walk and awkward poses and a body that was not really projected in its best onstage. Meanwhile, Miss Puerto Bodine Koehler won the best in this category, hands down. Too bad she was out of the Top 16 despite her killer moves and a body that screams sexy all over.
The Best and Worst in Gown

The black gown of Miss Denmark Josefine Hewitt is so 80s, a relic of the bygone era and in a color not really suited for the holidays. Oh, her walk is also the worst we've seen. That is a huge contrast to Miss Brazil Gabriela Markus. Gabi, aced her gown performance during the finals night (we've ranked her lower in the prelims). The wonderful creation that is her gown is made by elaborate beads and add ons with lines radially emanating from her belly. The way the gown showed her figure is just amazing!
The Best and Worst in National Costumes

The tribute to the Little Mermaid, which is quite iconic in the Danish capital of Copenhagen, is quite ridiculous for Miss Denmark Josefine Hewitt. It came out as rather comical and irrelevant. On the other hand, while China won the official National Costume award, it seems Miss Brazil Gabriela Markus is the better choice. Sure, she was placed as fifth in the official ranking for the National Costume contest but it is without doubt that her colorful wardrobe is a feast to the eyes. It is also culturally relevant for all the things that are very Brazilian from the murals on the skirt to the feathers and flowers perched on her shoulders.
