There is that feeling that Israeli beauties nowadays are a bit overrated. Who could overcome the fact that Kim Edri and Bat-el Jobi just became clappers? Tragic, truly tragic. Israel had its halcyon days in the 60's and 70's but lost its Miss Universe mojo lately. Even at Miss World, Israel's drought is still going on and it started way back in 2000! Goodness gracious!

Well, one or two of these women should be able to remedy that. Right? Share your thoughts please.

Almog Gerbi - She's got a beauty that is very much Middle Eastern. Her curly hair truly suits her and she is a serious contender. She's a young 19 year-old girl who stands at 5'9" height.

Alona Motiban - Her brows are beautifully arched and set in a lovely face. She appeared a bit strong in her candids but with the right make-up and hair she would shine.

Ananda Lee - This photo does not do justice to the beautiful Ananda. She is actually best when her hair is up because it shows the nice curvature of her face. I think she is one of the must watched contestants this year.

Christina Zuk - She's got that ex-Soviet girl look. She's definitely more lovely when she smiles. She is a strong contender at the national pageant but there are doubts that she can handle international competition.

Gal Grod - she has an unconventional beauty, beautiful in her own way but she needs to smile a lot more.

Hila Buskela - Another beauty to watch for. Love the lips. Love the look. She's better with a bit tanned skin than by being all too white.

Kim Dane - Her eyes speak to you. She has that melancholic/sexy eyes that bores into her victims inner emotions. This girl has a sexy appeal.

Lina Machola - She is a favorite of the many. She's got a good height at 5'10" and she's got the looks that could grab attention. 

May Yoshia - she has well proportioned face and her eyes are lovely. She has a legion of fans too.

Noy Avner - the front runner. She got the hot babe vive. Her candids are sizzling hot. She's a 5'11" and that makes it a power punch combo in the beauty pageant world.

Sapir Lodskin - lips, lips gotta love that lips. A Sheldry Saez award recipient but many beauty observations have lots of reservations about her beauty.

Sasha Grtz'ik - yes, a lot of people from ex-Soviet Republic are migrating to Israel and Sasha exudes that Soviet look which is of course a compliment. Her soft facial features are her huge assets

Shani Hazan - another favorite due to her stunning beauty. She has a strong appeal. Her face is truly a beauty to behold. She a few tenths of an inch short to become a 6-foot beauty (actually at 5'11.6", she can be considered as a 6-foot tall beauty) and many observers believe she is the best in the pageant.

Shani Zigdon - She's 5'9" beauty with a beauty that has not really caught the fancy of the beauty watchers but her lips curved just about right is her weapon.

Shelly Gegev - raven haired beauty that is definitely capable to capturing the crown. She got that effortless beauty and could go with any hair style or without make-up and still look beautiful. She is definitely in the "watch list".

Shoval Algrabyl - She can seduce you with her looks. The eyes are alluring, the lips are tempting. Her dark straight hair makes her look fresh and gorgeous at the same time. No wonder she is the most talked about contestant by beauty watchers.

Suf Azulai - pretty but never really tickled the fancy of the missosologists.

Tal-ben Menashe - love the shape of her mouth, lips and her eyes. She is a beauty that fits in anywhere, anytime. She can up-do, straighten, or curl her hair and still look fab. A front-runner. 

Tal-ben Shushan - pretty but she needs to work hard to be appealing.

Violette Haimov - she's got a promising beauty but she is definitely an amateur. At 17, Violette may have competed too early for her age.
