Lucero Montemayor of Nuevo Leon, Monterrey has been chosen by Nuestra Belleze México as Miss International Mexico 2013. The announcement has been published at the official website of NBM today. Lucero will therefore compete at the Miss International pageant in a yet to be announced location. She stands 5'9" and is 22 years old.
Mexico now boasts two Miss International crowns all by appointed beauty queens. In 2007 Priscila Perales, who originally competed at Miss Universe won the first Miss International title of Mexico. This was followed by Anagabriela Espinoza, who originally competed at Miss World, in 2009.
