Miss Mundo Brasil 2015 Ana Luisa Castro could be actually Mrs. Ana Luisa Castro Backer! Just hours after her crowning, it was found out that Ana Luisa is married to Belgian actor  Tanguy Backer. Ana Luisa is second black woman to win the crown in the pageant’s long history. Pageant organizer Henrique Fontes has reportedly given Ana Luisa two choices. One is to prove that the marriage is not valid in Brazil and thus she retains the crown and the second option is to give the crown up. If she is dethroned, Catharina Choi, a Korean-Brazilian, beauty will take over.

This is not the first time that a beauty queen was found to be married. All of the Big4 Pageants, namely Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth, requires that all of its contestants have not been married or has given birth to a child.

  1. But even if she’s not married in Brazil, she’s still married in Belgium and cannot compete in Miss World. What’s the organizer point? What a messy situation

    • Well I get the point of the organizer but still there would be a cross of interests – that’s true – she would remain Miss World Brazil but actually not be able to compete at Miss World – so what’s the point for her to keep the crown? At least she prooved to herself that she was the most beautiful and suitable for MW according to jury. But MW it is not just about beauty on the outside…

  2. Dethrone her. A married woman can’t compete in MW or any other pageant. Korean girl should be crowned the winner. Ana Lucia no wonder had a swollen face and body bcoz she was married and who knows might even be pregnant by days
