Miss World 2016 Beauty with a Purpose special viewing

A special viewing of selected Miss World 2016 Beauty with a Purpose projects was held last night.

Julia Morley, chairman of the judging panel and CEO of Miss World Organization, spoke to the candidates about the importance of BWAP before introducing the event’s special guest, Miss World New Zealand 2015 Deborah Lambie. Now working as a doctor in New Zealand, Lambie has helped over 70,000 students with free education tutorial videos made available online through her BWAP project.

  1. what a joke! Miss Canada who comes with a real cause and should win this hands down and yet because her issue indirectly goes against what China is about – poor human rights – doesn’t even make it to the finals. Oh – ironic – some of the biggest sponsors for Miss World are from China… no politics in this beauty show!
