IN PHOTOS :: 65th Miss Universe Philippine terno show

Vigan, one of the 7 Urban Wonders in World, saw some Miss Universe action Sunday night after the contestants paraded on the street wearing fabulous costumes. The quaint Spanish colonial houses along the city’s old Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos served as a perfect backdrop for the Philippine terno fashion show. The revered terno is the de facto national costumes of the Philippines and is usually worn in formal events.

The following contestants participated in the said event: Miss Belgium Stephanie Geldof, Miss Brazil Raissa Santana, Miss British Virgin Islands Erika Creque, Miss Bulgaria Violina Ancheva, Miss Cayman Islands Monyque Brooks, Miss Czech Republic Andrea Beldekova, Miss Great Britain Jaime-Lee Faulkner, Miss Guatemala Virginia Alejandro Argueta, Miss Malaysia Kiran Jassal, Miss Netherlands Zoey Ivory, Miss Nicaragua Marina Jacoby Santos, Miss Philippines Maxine Medina Miss Sierra Leone Hawa Kamara, Miss Singapore Cheryl Chou Zhi Hiu, Miss Slovak Republic Zuzana Kollarova, Miss Thailand Chalita Suansane, Miss USA Deshauna Barber, Miss Uruguay Magdalena Cohendet, Miss Venezuela Mariam Habach and Miss Vietnam Dang Thi Le Hang. Photos by Bong Tan/Missosology

  1. Top 3 in Terno:

    Sierra Leone

Bottom 3 and the ugliest Terno- The audience should shoot the designer for making these girls looks ugly:

Malaysia- the lower half of her terno looked like a de-spined sea urchin, yikes! The poor girl did not belong in the show!

British Virgin Islands- Dark skin, dark gown and long train? It made her disappear at night. The gay designer should be cobblestoned in Calle Crisologo.

Cayman Islands- She looked like a head hunter in the African jungle with her terno. That elongated loincloth-like cover made this poor girl look like she has big balls in between her legs. Epic fail!
