Following is the generic  procedure for the Big 4 Rankings. Other individual and isolated data representations, calculations and indicators have their individual guidelines.

Read Below to familiarise yourself with the Ranking Procedure. Missosology does not include pageants that lacks public backing hence any of these pageants may be downgraded if situation requires. All Big4 pageants are treated equal.

POINT SYSTEM

Winner - 200 pts

1st RU - 180 pts, 2nd RU - 160 pts, 3rd RU - 140 pts, 4th RU - 120 pts

(If declared)
5th RU - 110 pts, 6th RU - 105 pts

Rest of the semifinalists - 100 pts.
Rest of the quarterfinalists - 50 pts.
Rest of the participants - 10 pts.

ADDITIONAL POINTS

for MU, MW and MI: 30 points

Best in National Costume, Miss Photogenic & Miss Friendship - 10 pts each.

for ME: 30 points

Best in National Costume, Miss Photogenic, Miss Friendship, Best in Swimsuit & Best in Evening Gown - 6 points each
FURTHER POINTS

Best in Talent may also get a bonus point, depending on the situation - should the pageant hold a Talent Portion or not. The points to be earned shall be in consistent with the points received with the other Special Awards
