Analyzing the Godsends of Miss Earth 2003 by: Nicholo Paulo Ventura ![]() If Miss Earth's history is of any indication, expect the unexpected when it comes to results. The celebrated pageant for a cause has been concluded yet a part of its credibility is being questioned primarily because of the startling inclusion of a number of "underdogs". The semifinals comprised the lucky beauties from Guatemala, Philippines, Tahiti, Norway Cyprus and Serbia & Montenegro. Let's put Miss Earth's most beautiful creatures under microscope. |

Miss Tahiti Vairupe Huiotu The Testimony: Surprise! Surprise! What was this bedimpled lady doing there? It was puzzling that her conventional beauty won over the spectacular ones. Her lacy gown with stones plastered through the neckline... was horrendous! The credits probably goes to her long, naturally black hair that adds to the vibrancy of her always-glowing face. I assume that a seemingly unforced demeanor is what Miss Earth is looking for these days. |

Miss Philippines Laura Marie Dunlap The Testimony: Putting all her detractors to shame, Laura Marie Dunlap grasped the benefit of being included in the semifinals. During the Q&A, she finished with vague answers instead after amazingly giving a very quick look at the painting. Laura was recognized as a witty lady, however she gave everyone an impression of being uneasy and apprehensive as she stuttered in her interview. On the other hand, her provocative gown with sexy cuts proved that fashion sense and style are on par with everything else about her. |

Miss Norway Fay Larsen The Testimony: Another surprise of the night! She's definitely not a cruel joke from Mother Nature for a purpose of driving men of all ages to the point of insanity. The semi-finals won't be as unexciting without her. In spite of everything, let's give benefit for her elegant good looks that are somehow matched by an equally decent fashion sense. |

Miss Cyprus Christiana Aristotelous The Testimony: At 5'7", she has the body of a deity, the eyes of a princess, and the lips of a siren. Look, she has even turned me into a pathetic poetic slob after I overlooked her. A day before the finals, I was just seated beside Miss Cyprus and chatting with her, not thinking that the lady has already wowed the preliminary judges. Clad in bloody red gown in the final night's evening gown competition, she showed all the signs of a goddess in the making. Anyway, I have no idea if the aching in her tooth faded right before the finals. |

Miss Guatemala Marie Claire Palacios The Testimony: She is downright few and far between looking good. She is beautiful in a Gothic sort of way but still not enough for a few more praises. Let¡¦s still congratulate her for making it all the way to the top notwithstanding the presence of the other names that evokes attraction. |
Miss Serbia & Montenegro Katarina Vucetic The Testimony: Her classiness, splendor and energy brought her in the highest position possible. Katarina was fighting shoulder to shoulder with Marta for the top 4 spot. Her white-laced detailed gown with Empire waist ties was terrible and it gave her rival Miss Poland a good break. |
